Even Little Thoughts Manifest
Our littlest thoughts, the ones that we think are so insignificant, manifest in our daily lives. I have been paying attention lately to these little things I say or think to myself and how the idea of these continues to show up in my life. Let me give you a couple of examples on my thinking and how I changed it and the outcome.
The Ice Maker
For many years I have had the curse of the ice maker. Every time I would go to my refrigerator to get some ice, one ice cube would always fall out on the floor. It didn’t matter whose or where the ice maker was, the curse followed me. My husband and I would talk about this curse to each other and to others who happened to be around when one ice cube fell on the floor.
It dawned on me that it was my thoughts and certainty that this was always going to happen MADE it happen. So I began thinking that the ice cubes go either in my cup or stay in the fridge where they are supposed to. After a few weeks of not dropping ice cubes on the floor I realized it is not happening any more.
Coupons At Checkout
Another thought I always had was I never get any coupons for things I actually use when I check out from a store that gives you coupons. I would even tell the sales clerk this. So I decided to change my thoughts that I always get coupons for things I use when I check out. I just began thinking this recently and that energy has already changed. Yesterday when checking out at Walgreen’s I received two coupons. One was for the $1 off a pint size Ben & Jerry’s ice cream and the other was for a $3 savings on the brand of shampoo and conditioner I use.
A Little Experiment
What Are Your Little Thoughts? Think about the little things you constantly say to yourself about the things that always show up in your life? If you need to, write them down, and then think of a thought that will manifest how you do want this to show up going forward. Every time you think of the old thought, immediately cancel it out by replacing it with the new thought. At some point the new, more powerful thought will become automatic.
It can be as simple as ice cubes or coupons or getting green lights and parking spaces. What you intend shows up for you. Today I am intending the perfect picnic spot to enjoy a 4th of July picnic with our children and grandson. It’s going to be fun and the weather is perfect. A beautiful night for amazing fireworks!
