The Elements — Fire, Earth, Air, and Water
The elements are Fire, Earth, Air and Water and are grouped into four signs for each element. The positive or negative energy of these elements describes our unique personality types, traits, emotions and behavior and is reflected in our natal chart. Knowing the mix of elements and the strengths and weaknesses can help you understand your energy patterns and motivations. Each sign is a different expression of elemental energy and presents a different development pattern. The Fire Signs are Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius

The earth signs are our physical envoys and are concerned with our tangible needs, such as food, shelter, work, and responsibilities. Earth Weak in Your Chart — Earth Weak refers to a lack of groundedness. You may have difficulty coping with the realities of every day Life. Practical daily chores just may not interest you. The Air Signs are Gemini, Libra, and Aquarius.

The Water Signs are Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces.
The water signs correspond to the emotional side of our natures. Water signs are sensitive, emotional signs that are associated with psychic ability, compassion, and creativity. As changeable, subtle, and able to infiltrate as water itself, water signs gauge the mood in the room when they enter and operate on what they sense from their environment. You value your personal relationships, in which you often take on the role of caretaker. You are such a sympathetic and understanding person that you are often caught in the role of mother to your loved ones.
